Quite good, actually. While a single room hosting a Deli 9, a Subway
and a Movenpick
might awaken the dormant claustrophobe in you, this is more of an outdoorsy than an indoorsy place. Thanks to the peace of the location that can almost be filed under interior Jubilee Hills, it's inviting to sit outside with whatever sin you've bought yourself. And the 10 wooden benches outside with resident hookahs make the proposition more compelling (it costs to send up smoke, of course - Rs. 150 for 45 minutes).
The babe and hunk factor is high at Rhapsody. So, sometimes, is the Tollywood factor - especially the younger crowd, featuring among others Allu Arjun who hangs out here rather often. The inner enclosure has 9 tables, including a couple of plush sofa sets to spread yourself about.
Deli 9 basically tries to position itself as the most expensive bakery in town, and by that noble criterion, the Deli 9 at Rhapsody can appear woefully tiny, especially considering the prime real estate that its siblings at Begumpet and Banjara Hills occupy. The idea is perhaps that this is not a commercial area, and they just want to extend a distribution arm to an affluent crowd that will not come all the way to the other outlets.
Size, anyway, does not matter - you get the entire range of Deli 9 offerings here, and they deliver to your home too if you stay within 2km and order in excess of Rs. 200. The range, of course, includes the standard Deli 9 fare - breakfast rolls (muffins, donuts and croissants), cakes (20 varieties, a black forest pastry costs Rs. 75), cookies (Rs. 18 each), quiches, puffs (Rs. 25 for a chicken puff) and bread.
Well, if you are going to fatten yourself, you might as well do it in some serenity. Okay, now don't reflect upon that line - it just sounded good, so we typed it. But if you have company that can make you reflect upon better things, this is a good place to do it. Just remember to wipe the goo off your mouth after every chomp. These subs are crazy.
