Central Publishers is not like any of the other bookstores in the twin cities. They have focused on school books, and have had leanings towards the central boards. While they do endeavor to take a leaf out of Himalaya's, they have safely gotten into the good books of all the ICSE schools like HPS, Gitanjali, Nasr etc. by being the official distributor for these institutions.

Can't blame Central for not shedding off their textbook store image and getting a makeover. Students today are well versed with Davies' gem, "We have no time to stand and stare." They've even decentralised their inventory to newer branches to the other parts of the city, enabling you to make book of the fact that they'll still sell ICSE/CBSE guides by the book.
