Chiraan Fort Club

Never mind the jailhouse-gate that might not exactly get you delirious with ecstasy - whatever time you'll do inside the Chiran Fort will be good. Established in 1994, this club-cum-hotel has all the powder to charge you with new vigor, whether you stay at its plush guesthouse Pinnacle, or are a casual visitor to its lawns and restaurants.

Modeled on 15th century Mughal architecture, the old building of Chiran Fort is equipped with lounges that have massive and chandeliered ceilings recreating the Nawabi era with their furniture and paintings. The new building traces mediaeval European splendor, with towers and interiors doing justice to the theme.

The neatly groomed lawns give way to the crystal waters of the swimming pool and the badminton and the squash courts. Gulrose and Kohinoor are the multi-cuisine restaurants, while Mehfil includes a bar. The banquet halls are many and varied, and include a capacity of catering for 40 to 200 people. These banquet halls have interesting names like Durbar-E-Qutub-Shahi and Chanakya.

Members who indulge in literary tastes are also not left disappointed, as Chiran Fort sports a brand new library, Parivaar, which has a large collection of books on contemporary as well as historical subjects.

A membership at the Chiran Fort can cost you anything between Rs. 8,000 and Rs. 2,00,000, depending on your requirements. The charges applicable are as follows:

Corporate Executive Membership: 1 year for Rs. 8,000, 2 years for Rs. 10,000, and 3 years for Rs. 12,500.

The Chiran Fort gym is open for non-members for a fee, while for members, it requires additional subscriptions over their club contributions:
