Our TATA Nano was submitted to dealership Concorde Motors a total of three times to repair a faulty wheel Alignment problem at the rear. On all three occasions the problem was NOT resolved and to add to the problem, the car was given to us in a WORSE state then when it was given to you for repairs.
Upon submission of Vehicle to the care of Concorde Motors, the problem was to fix Rear Wheel Alignment, The Dealership replaced both rear trailing arms initially stating they were sure this was the problem, upon delivery of the vehicle to us, we noticed the problem was still present, not to mention they still wanted to charge us but we refused paying the full bill of (12,000Rs.) only paying the Deposit of (4000 Rs.) on the agreement they would resolve the issue. Upon returning the car for the second appointment to fix the problem Concorde motors assured us that the Sub Frame chassis where the ENGINE was mounted needed to be replaced, and that we still needed the Trailing arms regardless.
This time the delivery process took longer than estimated and also created huge inconvenience in my personal life, there was no quality assurance or proper updates on my vehicle status, and often I would have to go in person to check the progress. Once delivery took place we found that the Issue of REAR WHEEL alignment was STILL NOT resolved. But due to my need to use a vehicle for personal errands we took the vehicle with another appointment to return and finalize this matter. Upon retrieval they AGAIN charged us extra amount of (10,000RS) to which we insisted we shall only pay a Deposit of (5,000 Rs.) till this matter is properly resolved.
In our history of Auto mechanic industry my son and I have been in auto mechanic sales, service and repair s for over 20 years. We are very well knowledgeable and aware when our intelligence is being patronized and abused. Upon taking the car home we noticed that several problems had arisen from FAULT of the Dealer below listed are all the problems:
Muffler Loud Noise (dealer said a Stone jumped up and caused this problem? How was that determined?).
Loss of power from the engine.
Air Conditioning is not working. (possibly not recharged after engine was re mounted)
Rear Tires are still out of Alignment (primary problem this car was submitted for NOT FIXED).
Oil is Leaking from the gear Box (transmission).
Clutch is slipping (most likely due to the Oil leak coming from the Clutch plate area of transmission.)
Rear Right Wheel is wobbling severely even after replacing wheels, personally this problem persisted and it should have been caught by Dealer during the attempts to fix rear issues. (Allegedly the HUBS were replaced, why is this issue still there?) Currently we hold all receipts for all repairs done over the year of this cars purchase. The Wheel hubs, Muffler, and Clutch were all replaced once before already, from my mechanical expertise when the dealer removed the engine they did not put everything in place properly. No one is accepting responsibility or attempting to help their loyal customer.
