The Euro Shop
Piya Bahadur / fullhyd.com
Replete with a bewildering array of Buddhas in every size, material and pose, and a fascinating selection of more elusive Feng Shui-friendly statues for every ill like the Three-legged Frog and the Wishing Turtle, The Euro Shop at Lumbini Jewel Mall is choc-a-bloc with fancy gifts for all those times you really wanted to wish someone well and didn't know how.

So you can purchase a Laughing Buddha for overall luck and happiness, a Buddha with a golden bowl for prosperity, a Buddha surrounded by children for family, a Buddha for a flourishing business and so on. And if the recipient has no need for such detail, the store also stocks crystalware from Europe, and items from Chinese and Indian handicrafts as well. So you could buy a D'Arques vase or picture frame, crystal ashtrays, clocks and perfumes - all within a range of Rs. 250 to Rs. 2,000.

While Feng Shui happens to be a recent phenomenon in the city, The Euro Shop has been around longer. This Banjara Hills branch is the third in line, with the other outlets located in Nallakunta and Marredpally. However, the store manager, who has been associated with this group for over 5 years, informs you that this particular outlet has more exclusive wares keeping in mind its location. Although with the rising rentals in Banjara Hills, you do wonder if that 2 feet tall carved marble Laughing Buddha with a golden bowl priced at Rs. 20,000 would be of any help in finding an apartment in the neighborhood.

And if you don't want to place all your trust in Feng Shui alone, there are enough Ganeshas and other representatives of the entire Hindu pantheon of gods to choose from. Ganeshji, another public favorite, appears in a variety of forms - dashboard ornament, delicate crystal, and even glow in the dark.

The Euro Shop then, besides being a good stop for all your assorted Feng Shui needs, is also a conveniently priced gift-buying destination.

You are just a customer who has not lost anything like how we did,. So it would be best to just shut up and not support such con artist unless you are one too or you are involved along with them.

You don't know the agony we had gone thru to get back our property.

It is easy to sell things for much less price when you are looting the owners of the shop space by not paying rent which runs in Lakhs/month. That is their strategy to sell things at low prices.

So please stay out of this unless you have any vested interest in Malavika or the business they run.

Both Malavika and Srinivas are big time cheaters and liars to an extent to avoid paying rents for the house and shops.

They run their business cheating the owners of the shops they rent without paying a penny for years together and push the owners to go to court and then start playing their dirty tricks by bribing everyone possible and drag it for years and even drag the owners to police stations with false cases.

Both Malavika and Srinivas are the most disgusting and unethical people I have known.

THE MOST SHAMELESS CREATURES ON EARTH

I am sure god is watching them and they will definitely pay big time for all their deeds. If not them their 2 kids will pay for the sins these two have committed so far and are still committing.

in response to the above writeup i completely disagree as i have been a customer to the euro shop for the past many years and euro shop not only provides immense variety of stuff but is also very reasonably priced which comeswith a challenge from the staff of the store that if ever we can get the stuff at a lesser price, the difference would be paid in double.neither the stuff nor the price is available any where in hyderabad.and it is a very obvious fact.and to think people can be easily fooled is absurd.i think whosoever has written the comment either has ego issues or something else.as for the ambience and the etiquette and the frendliness of the staff it is an obvious fact that it can be given 100 marks and can be personally experienced.

I Do agree that Euro Shop has a good collection of gift articles. However, recently, the Euro Shop at Marredpally has adopted a cheap strategy to lure customers into visiting their store.... They proudly advertise a flat 50% discount on ALL items. You go into the shop and pick ANY article expecting a reasonable if not a great discount and all that you see is that the prices have been beefed up to twice the normal rate and then they offer a 50% discount on it.

For example, a small vase (porcelain) costs anywhere between 300-400 normally at any store ( I have compared the price of the same article in multiple stores). However at Euro Shop the list price is 899 and then they offer a 50% discount bringing the sale price down to close to 450!!!!

Also, the store at Marredpally is too small and there isn't much of an aisle for you to walk and take a look at things. When it comes to service, the employees there hardly give you a damn, each one of the guys is preoccupied with their own chat talk and you are left wandering around on your own.

Overall, Euro Shop Marredpally Sucks and their policy to lure customers is totally unethical. DO NOT EVER BE FOOLED!

Pros: Attractive collection
Cons: Lousy service, cramped space, DIsgusting ethics, beefed up prices
