We were two people who went to La Cantina for dinner to celebrate. We ordered Guacamole as an appetizer, and it was spoiled. We called the chef, who tasted it and agreed that it was messed up. He makes the same one this time with a fresh avocado and it tasted ok.

Then we ordered a main course (don't remember the name) which had shrimp and Mexican rice in it. The rice was bad, it was spoiled rice. We asked for the chef again, who tells us that the rice was made in the morning and yes it was spoiled.

So after two spoiled dishes we could only get up and leave. I would never try the place again.

Pros: Spoiled food was served

My worst experience in Mexican so far. Apart from being tasteless , food (including soup) had overdose of salt ..and even after bringing it to the notice of the staff, they just helplessly shrugged. In fact after tasting the soup we planned to leave the place ..but somehow thought of giving it another shot and ordered burritos .. I regreted the decision the moment I saw the dish. Decided to skip the dessert and coffee part as was planned n left the place. With such bad food couldnt even appreciate the otherwise good pool side ambience.

Pros: Pool side location but not good enough to spoil the mood!!
Cons: Isnt the bad food/service sufficent reason to reason?
