Mostly a place for those with limit-free credit cards and sugar-daddies, Kalanjali is one of those major stores that are exclusive to only Hyderabad, and yet popular both among the local crowds, and among tourists and NRIs. Owned by the same family that runs leviathans like Eenadu, ETV, Ramoji Film City, Usha Kiron Movies and Margadarsi Chit Funds, the store is ubiquitous with its ads, most of which it gets for free given its media house lineage. And the swanky branding does not overhype the actual wares.

Kalanjali has three sections: saris, readymades, and arts and crafts.
