If you are strolling through a street and out of the blue an invisible violin starts to play in front of you, don't you worry, it's nothing to do with your sanity! It's more likely that Santosh Kumar is standing across the street, and is in the mood for some fun.
In the field for 10 years now, Santosh Kumar is a specialist at mimicking musical instruments. He is also a specialist at having his audience hold their stomachs and roll off their seats in laughter with his spontaneous humor. And also in shocking them with throwing bizarre voices over their shoulder.
Qualified with a Diploma in Mimicry from the
Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Santosh Kumar is known for passing the chuckle around wherever he goes. And he makes the most of this gift. From corporates to cancer patients, retarded children and the Blue Cross, he has touched them all, with his favorite audience being children. He loves using his expertise in mimicry and ventriloquism to lighten their tiny souls.
His most recent programs were held at the
Ramoji Film City and at the
Prasad's Multiplex. He has even worked for 3 years with a newspaper group, and has conducted about 300 workshops till date.
A scrupulous professional, Santosh does not aver that he can mimic any voice spontaneously. He acknowledges that it takes time, practice, and, most importantly, an understanding of the skill. Though until now he has only given workshops at schools, he seems more than delighted to teach individuals. But he demands the utmost dedication and interest from his pupils.
So if there is a voice in your ear telling you to go ahead and join Santosh Kumar's tutelage, it may not always be your inner voice.
