In an inconspicuous street of Himayatnagar, Hamstech has been making ripples for the past 5 years, before which it was a part of ZED careers. If you wanted to get into a full-swing professional designer course but lost out in the rat race, then there is no need to mourn it out - Hamstech comes to your aid, and an able aid it is.

The reception area of this institute is very efficiently utilized: in one main hall you will find the reception, the student counselor's cabin, the director's cabin, a waiting area for the visitors and the computer lab. Maybe our national leaders can learn a lesson from them. Hamstech is housed in a 7,500 sq. ft. multi-storied building, but contrary to what other places do, manages to actually look smaller than it is.

You need to spend reasonable time at the institute, at the end of which you get an attractive certificate. If you are lucky it may be from SNDT, Mumbai, but even otherwise it will still be a certificate recognized by the Government.

The syllabus includes a rich choice of subjects like pattern-making, accessory designing and textile designing. The students are sent for internship to Stanza. People who have wanted to do designing but got pushed into more 'conventional' careers can take up this up as a part-time course.

An in-house placement division offers placement assistance helping students start their career. Students can get placed as fashion designers, fashion coordinators, freelance designers, merchandisers, interior designers, interior decorators, furniture designers etc.
