Established in 1960, Krishna attracted crowds from as far as Uppal - sans MMTS and vehicle-friendly instalment offers, this distance was considered galactic. The theater hasn't metamorphosed much from its debut version. The seats are still all wooden, flat and merciless. And the hall continues to screen films from the '60s - you are quite likely to catch 'Sholay' here even today, as we did on our visit. And pardon the audio system if Yeh Dosti sounds like a Ghulam Ali rendition. Even the screen needs a wee bit of your sympathy, as the mole appearing on Samba's forehead might actually be....
