Irrespective of the day or time, the first thing that strikes you when you arrive at the entrance of Hotel Supreme Parkview is the sheer number of young folks jostling for space at the premises.
A large group of 20-something executives stands, awaiting assistance, at the foot of the stairs that lead to the modest-looking (and modestly-sized) lobby. A band of young women, dressed for a day at work, snakes its way from the common dining hall (the hotel serves complimentary breakfast to all its guests) towards the exit. Adding to the chaos are giggling school-girls, impeccable in starched uniforms, each bearing a small suitcase, ready to check-in.
Judging by this scene alone, most people who stay at this 3-storied hotel move around in packs, and perhaps more interestingly, are under 25 (although this is, by no means, irrefutable logic), sans the elderly teacher accompanying the tunic-clad herd.
It makes more sense, though, after you consider the following: the hotel's location, its rooms and facilities, and most importantly, its rate card.
Supreme Parkview, which is located on the Madhapur Main Road (several prominent Hi-Tec City offices are only "ten minutes" away, as the brochure states) offers 38 rooms (15 are suites, with a minibar in each) that offer even the most demanding guest everything expected, and its basic and cleanest: a spacious room with great wooden furniture (including a bed, cabinet, chairs and cupboard), soft bedding, air-conditioning, a large bathroom with hot water facility and a TV with cable connection. Internet facility is also provided, as are the services of a travel desk, and a well-trained housekeeping and room-service staff.
If the facilities are no different from those of other Hi-Tec City hotels/ guest houses, the rates certainly are; book a room here for a price that would fall between Rs. 1,150 and Rs. 1,500 (plus taxes).
It's no wonder, then, that youngsters line up at Hotel Supreme Parkview's front desk by the dozen. Rate-wise and otherwise, this hotel offers you a better deal than most - it's much cleaner than Hotel Supreme Deluxe (located on the same road, closer to Hi-Tec City), and it's a more practical alternative to say, a
Mapple Inn, which is designed specifically to suit corporate tastes, and pockets. Good choice, Hotel Supreme Parkview!
