Kuchipudi Nritya Kala Bhavan

An old-world charm surrounds the ancestral house where Natyacharya Mahankali Mohan conducts dance classes. More than 50 students congregate here each day to learn the basics of the divine art of Nataraja from the supremely talented artist and guru. His dance school - the Kuchipudi Nritya Kala Bhavan - is about 20 years old, and very well-known among residents of the nearby communities.

Acharya Mohan is a professor of dance in the local Government Post-Graduate Degree College. He conducts classes both in the mornings and evenings. His daughter is an accomplished musician, and gives Carnatic vocal lessons to children from 6:00pm to 6:45pm each day.
