Metalloid

First impressions are lasting impressions. And the first impression you get while watching Metalloid play remains with you even after the music's over: "Why the heck are they so short?"

Metalloid is a young and dynamic group of youngsters filled with desire, ambition and pride in their hearts. Leading from the front is guitarist Leenus Livingstone who first envisioned "a band unique with its music and attitude." Rocking along with him are drummer Gaurav, singer Shafi and guitarist Louis. Astonishingly, this motley group had to make without a bassist for a long period of time. Only when the news of an impending show cropped up did they realize the gravity of the problem. Luckily for them, good friend Paul lent a hand as well as four strings to complete the group.

Metalloid's first performance was at Passport. They followed up their success story with another gig at Spanish Fly and peaked with one of Hyderabad's biggest and most memorable rock shows at Necklace Road - Gurus of Rock. Their favorite however was the one at One Flight Down. According to their website, "Metalloid unleashed the power of Heavy Metal."
