There's nothing in the world as distressing as an uncomfortable pair of shoes. Spend a day walking around in the uber-haute Roman sandals and you'll see why the Empire went to war so often. Their tootsies were sore, a point that Homer completely omitted to mention in his magnum opus. But Regal does not overlook this crucial detail, and all its footwear is comfy, or at least as comfy as fashion will allow.
Styles in the ladies' section lean toward strappy sandals and sequined, or otherwise glitterized, slippers. Make sure you pick something with slightly sturdier straps and heels, though, even if you are tempted by the slinkies. They don't last.
The men's shoes are simpler, but with perhaps less choice available. Formals, as mentioned earlier, are the strong point here. Don't expect anything too whacky or college-type; all is somber brown and black.
What college-types will have a use for is the bags and accessories section. Good value for money, and in solid, conservative but classic styles.
On the expensive side - but not compared to
Lord's across the street - and with neat styling, Regal Shoes can usually turn up something you will happily find a use for.
