A store that you chance upon as you cruise through the gazillion slopes in Jubilee Hills, Marchika isn't a place that many people in Hyderabad would consider visiting, because it's basically ridiculously expensive. Marchika is one of the very few stores in Hyderabad that sell astounding designer clothes. If rags on a T-shirt are what you are looking for, then oh boy, is this a place for you. Gorgeous would be an understatement for the saris here, and expensive would be a colossal understatement for the prices.

These unambiguously overpriced saris range from Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 13,000. If ethnic and expensive is your choice, then the designer ghagras here are fabulous. These range around Rs. 13,000. And the salwar suits that scream "designer" range from Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 20,000. They are as elegant as they can get, though.

With hatke designers like the Bunty Grovers and the Meenakshis in this place, the prices do not come anywhere near being reasonable, but Marchika is as close as it can get to interesting designer clothes.
