The cosmetics section of
Lifestyle expectedly houses some of the best brands in makeup. The area at the superstore dedicated to venerating your vanity case is smaller and less spacious than that at a standalone cosmetics store, but for most brand-savvy women, it is the first preference, both for the equity of the location itself and for the greater variety.
The sub-store houses an entire spectrum ranging from a purple Revlon Lipstick to a rare shade of Dior Kohl, from a Chambor Skin Foundation to Biotique (a brand for herbal stock) hair care products, and from a Bourjois lip liner to even Versace eye shadow for a smoky eye look. (Only, the latter costs 1,300 bucks for one tiny case of eye shadow. Smoke or fire?)
The recent addition of skin care products from Kaya Skin Care gives an edge over other cosmetics stores. And since all those hues of makeup and numerous skin lotions can baffle you, the store allows you a trial of makeup to help you decide which pick.
Choosing a product that suits your skin with no side-effects can pose a problem, to which fortunately the sales girls at the respective counters are the solution - they seem to know no less than any skin specialist does.
The best part is the perfumes section which usually gets upgraded faster than any other cosmetics store in the city (including
Shoppers' Stop and
Hyderabad Central). The latest Baby Blue Jeans and Red Jeans from Versace, and Eternity Reloaded from Calvin Klein mark the spread of Lifestyle. Adding to the list are Armani, Dior, Dolce n Gabbana and many more.
Since the price tags adulate the brands, it is not a wise visit for those who look at opportunity costs. However, you can always use the store's trial offer to don those seductive shades of lipsticks or feel the magical effect of Davidoff cool water for free. A word of warning to the ladies - avoid weekends for your shopping extravaganza (it is about your looks, after all), the brimming crowd might not let you have a delightful shopping experience.
