This is what people mean when they say that they've hit pay dirt. When the management of the ultra-popular
Sandhya (RTC X roads) started a theater a few light-years from the city at Madhapur, everybody thought these guys took ET a tad too serious. But now they know better. They did take ET seriously all right. Originality always clicks.
The originality in this idea was the location, and to feel the pulse of the population there. Hitech had all kinds of myths associated with it - like one that a ticket here cost Rs. 200. But it was just a bit over a 100 bucks at one point of time.
Making a place expensive has its advantages. Apart from making the management richer, it makes the audience appreciate every small detail. Hitech easily has one of the most comfortable seating arrangements of the city. Each row of seats has legroom of over 2 feet. Cool pun, eh?
The sound and picture quality are top notch. That can be said about the air conditioning, too. And on most of the days, the theater remains on the clean side.
The only real issues with this place are the lack of good parking space and the endless distance to travel. If you don't mind parking your vehicle in a chartered lane, and don't mind traveling to the moon to catch your favorite flick, Hitech is one of the best theaters in town.
