CCMB Art Gallery

On a long stretch of wilderness, you are riding like the wind. Suddenly from a distance you hear a din. As you get closer to its origin, you see several vehicles parked outside a large black gate. You look closely at the lettering on the outer wall, and you realize it is that time of the year - CCMB is having its art exhibition.

This is the only time of the year, usually the year-end, when CCMB throws open its doors to all artists. This entire fiesta is arranged by one of their in-house artists, Surya Prakash, a renowned painter in his own right. Once a sizeable number of interesting artists has been gathered, the gates are thrown open, and the sombre CCMB grounds wear an almost festive air for a month or so, with outsiders being allowed into the premises, minus the plastic visitor-card and minus the pair of suspicious eyes following their every move.

So, fuel up your tank, put on those sunglasses and carry a bottle of chilled water; it's going to be a long interesting day at CCMB.
