Molecule (Old Name: Blockbuster Pub (Taj Tristar))

As you enter Blockbuster, the first thing you realize is that you are inside. The next thing you realize is that that's what doors are meant for. Why are we talking all incoherent? Because we are elated beyond words for finding a place like this. This is a treasure pot for the clique that loves blockbusters, our filmi style good music, and some shady-looking, smelly characters along with you in the seats enjoying the fun.

With loud Hindi music - which these days is better than most of the dance music being produced the world over - jhakaas filmi posters and inexpensive spirit, this place is zabardasth! There's an LCD TV, too, so you can watch music videos and movies sans the soundtrack (it's a pub and it's already loud, remember?).

The music is predominantly Hindi, but during the peak hours between 2000-2200 hours, there is a lot of hip-hop, rock and trance also played. Because of the geographical location and the pricing, the maximum number of its patrons are businessmen who give a pot belly about their manners while having a good time.

Still believing in the happy policy of happy hours, Blockbuster lives up to its name, except that you won't find a drenched Yana Gupta in a white sari. As you might have concluded, the 80-odd seats in the place are mostly taken by just the guys. Singapore Sling In Hyderabad is a popular barmen cocktail here.

Kitne bhi aadmi rehnedo sarkar, yeh jagah mast hai if you like Hindi music. Sadly, it does not apply to kitne bhi aurat ho.
