There are many theaters in this part of town. Some of them even show movies. Raghavendra happens to be one of them.
Squeezed into a bottlenecked lane, Raghavendra is definitely one of the biggest theaters in the city. Generally screening the latest Telugu releases, the theater has a seating capacity of over 1,000. And the ticket price is just suited for the kind of audience that swarms this cinema.
Raghavendra has semi-decent seats that combine the new velvet feel with the old wooden armrests. The legroom is generally sufficient to emerge unscathed. The sound system is of no use if you're planning to catch a flick in its first week, because the audience will drown out the noise on the screen anyway.
The best way to go to Raghavendra is to carry your oxygen cylinder with you. Apart from helping you breathe fresh, non-pan-stinking and smoke-free air, it will also help you to break open a few heads out of sheer disgust. Just don't get carried away and do it on yourself.
If you can excuse the cleanliness and the godawfully suffocating lane, Raghavendra will not disappoint you on other fronts. This is actually considered the best theater in these parts of the town.

black tickets selling theate .
once the cinema starts , they will stop the a/c on one side , sometimes they slow down or for a non-rush movies they completely stops the a/c.
no proper planning is there for parking. always there will be vehicles rush inside the theatre premises and it will be a big task to come out of the theatre with vehicles along with family.

One of The Worst Theater I Had Ever Seen In Hyderabad City . This Theater Only For Sell The Tickets In Black , They Just Distribute Upto 10 to 20 tickets After That Most Of The Tickets Will Be Selling in The Black
Total robbers, they sell black tickets for all new releases directly, also they collect R.s 10 extra in the name of advance booking
All say movies is the cheapest source of entertainment and if these type of thieves do day light robbery in the name of movies, who will watch movies in theater

Currently Raghavendra is the best cinema hall in the Secunderabad area. This is since this theatre has open. The speciality of this theatre is, ofcourse theSOUND SYSTEM. before the DTS came it is most horror movies watchable theatre in Secunderabad. I cannot forget the expetience of movies like GUPT, CHETABADI, ARTHARAATRI, KAHO NAA PYAR HAI, APARICHITUDI, KHISHI, KAANCHANA, etc. THe best theatre with the worst Box office counters. This theatre has the lot of parking place but the single and conjusted way to get in or out of the premises. Inside the hall the space is very much. Screen is also very good. I never miss a chance to watch the movie. Awesome theatre.

Raghavendra theaters complex are well maintained times because of family patrons. Whenever I go surround by this complex in the evening time I observe they are so many families and ladies would come to watch here.
There is a common toilet for 3 screens, Nice interiors. But when I watched kanchana here. He forgot to switch off the lights. It caused furor among us. They unnecessarily put dancing lights when songs come. It is wrong to put on lights in the middle of the thriller movie like kanchana. It causes disturbance specially for balcony seats as height difference is very less. Sound is excellent but like the other guy here said may be positioning was wrong. sometimes it sound well..and other times overload with resound ..and extra (re) sound. Canteen is good, you can buy anything at MRP rates. Sufficient crew.

Raghavendra was my favorite since child hood but now its not.Just because even after spending so much money on the theatre interiors they are not at all concentrating on maitaining it properly.It has the large screen and a good company DTS system but the speakers are of absolute local make after all it was only known for sound system before DTS came,People also used to say that this theatres sound effect is mind blowing and one of the bets in city but when they intalled DTS the charm of its sound system is gone.I only say that they should use good quality speakers and again reset the dts which very much possible with only minimal expenditure.THey sould learn to maintain rather only to own.............
