A P Aviation Academy

The A P Flying Club started around in the Nizams' time as the Nizam's Flying Club, and that makes it one of oldest of its kind in India. Today it is called the A P Aviation Academy, and offers training for commercial and private pilot licenses. But for those who just want an exhilarating, though expensive, hobby, they also teach how to fly single engine aircrafts. The two models are Cessna 152, a two-seater; and Cessna 172, a four-seater. All you need to enroll for training is to be medically fit and to have passed class X. At the rate of Rs. 3000 per hour, you can pick up flying in about 3 months if you are regular.

The practice sessions happen at Nadargul airfield, and the academy has a flight simulator for greater training effectiveness. The instructors are qualified pilots since the hobby club shares them with the Aviation Academy. So to take the big leap in safe hands, this is have to head.
