If you are a normal hot-blooded man, you probably haven't missed Neeru's models on all the hoardings generously planted across town and in all the ads in the newspapers. If you have, then well, maybe you're not a man at all. Wait, that wasn't meant to sound like that - we mean, you are perhaps actually a woman. Actually, no normal woman would miss the Neeru's hoardings either. So you're probably not a woman. Sheesh, this paragraph is going nowhere.

Neeru's is a powerful local retail brand for women's ethnic clothing, with 4 showrooms in town as we write this in 2005 - at Abids, King Kothi, Somajiguda and Hyderabad Central. By providing excellent quality and service, Neeru's at Somajiguda is doing exactly what the company's motto says the store aims to do. In addition, elegant designs in cheery colors leave you wondering what to let go of instead of what to choose.

The store is located on a busy main road, and the only unpleasant part is getting across this hurdle to reach the doorstep. Once inside, friendly staff members in orange armed with helpful information greet you. While bright lighting and spacious shelves make the shopping experience lighter, the prices do the same to your purse. Salwar suits can be had in the Rs. 1,500 - Rs. 2,000 range, while kurtis and tops come for Rs. 500 or more. Ghaghras are also available, and the store has recently added a new glitzy sari section as well.

The only objectionable part of the glamorous Neeru's advertising campaign is the focus on NRI clientele, as though the store were somehow out of the reach of Indians. But if you can afford the place, you are guaranteed to come out of Neeru's satisfied with your purchases.
