Any store that can get Brett Lee to endorse it should be amazing, shouldn't it? Well, since we can't trust Brett Lee to do his homework before signing the contract, we ourselves will have to find out. New Balance is a new sportswear line from the Royal Sporting House, and was launched in May 2005. The store is their vain and pathetic attempt at re-branding themselves.
The store is small and cramped, with hardly any walking space to speak of. The range is decent, with sportswear and accessories from New Balance and related brands, notably Dunlop. The shop really doesn't come across as an exclusive outlet of any sort. They have T-shirts, socks, hand grips and other add-ons sprinkled throughout the shop, but the monotony seeps through. In addition, they have semi formal wear from Caterpillar and shoes from CAT.
If you are a golf aficionado, you'll find a passable selection of golf sets and clubs on the second floor, but that too leaves much wanting. The branch of Royal Sporting House at
Hyderabad Central has better choice and diversity than this place, and in effect renders this store relatively useless. I'd rather shop there than here, since there is no price difference anyway.
