Every average Joe knows what Adidas brings to the table. The Adidas gallery, firmly settled in Banjara Hills, is for all the 'brand conscious' and 'image is everything' sports buffs and Olympic aspirants out there.

There is a hell of a lot of variety out there. To start with, there's vast amounts of hep and happening apparel (track pants, vests, jackets etc.) for any sporting occasion - be it pumping iron at the gym, running up and down the race track, shooting some hoops or whacking that forehand wide. And for those who still want to look cool after their rigorous session, there's plenty of casual wear on offer as well.

The fun doesn't stop at just the clothing. Footwear is given top billing as well, ranging from slip-ons to shock absorbing sports shoes. Plenty of accessories are available, too, so as to complete the "I'm too cool for school" image. Caps, deodorants, wallets, bags, and even tennis balls and basket balls... and the list can go on.

But oops! Your 'friendly' capitalist American is definitely not going to sell cheap now, is he? Anything and everything over there has one hell of a hefty price. The shoe prices can rocket to a whopping Rs. 6,500, the bags drain you Rs. 1,150, all apparel starts at about Rs. 400... this is a place only for the serious (seriously loaded, we mean) shopper. And since Adidas sells only, well, Adidas, there isn't much choice out there for the meticulous shopper.

But for all of you out there that have the necessary dough, this place can be a very pleasant shopping experience. Extremely spacey and well lit, it's a comfortable place to browse for whatever sporting needs you have. The sales personnel are very friendly, the music does not irritate, and the facilities such as their changing rooms and measuring stools are quite agreeable.

And for the budget conscious folks out there, never fear. The odd seasonal sale can serve to attract many customers to purchase the same quality at a much reduced discounted price. Or so they say!
