If Ravindra Bharati, Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hari Hara Kala Bhavan and Sri Lakshmi Kala Mandir are mentioned to you as popular venues in Hyderabad for cultural or social conventions, there is one mistake there. Hari Hara Kala Bhavan is in Secunderabad, not Hyderabad. And maybe there's one more error, too.
After parking your vehicle in the enormous parking area of Sri Lakshmi Kala Mandir, you are engrossed in the sight of huge sculptures of Hindu goddesses adorning the facade of the hall. Expectantly, you enter the theater looking hard for more pieces of such art. To your utter disappointment, the only other works of art you're able to trace are the walls displaying abominable red stains of you-know-what. The loos haven't been spared either - the more you look for, the more you find.
The only respite from all this is either the movie being screened (by the way, these guys show only the latest Telugu films) or the lush green fields outside the theater.

worst theatre I ever went in my life don't ever go. I am planing to lodge a complaint as they are taking money on DTS and AC but there is no such facility just a screen with poor quality sound
If you gonna rated for theatres in Hyderabad this theatre will be occupied bottom place in that rated list
worst.. never go with family... cheap nd crowdy one...only gud is u get tickts easily on 1st day
It used to be a good theatre once(1991-2007). I hope they are still maintaining the same standards.
Recently I saw ZindagiNMD here..it is a good theater. It got the worst projection system I've ever seen. There is no relation between sound and video. It got excellent sound quality Nice ambiance. Cushion seats even in second class..couple seats and single seats mixed up in the entire theater to encourage the audience . I have observed that there are so many families came to theater that day who do not buy tickets for their children. Even usher had not objected..that could main reason they kept seats like that..hence I am giving 10/10 for family viewing..Theater seams to be renovated very well except the worst (old) projection. I sincerely request admin to have a date in their editorial review..so that the people can have the idea of it and please divide audio with visual quality because they are two different things most of the cases..specially this theatre

I am from the area and I would say that this is one of the worst theaters. New movies are released here every week and ticket are sold in black by theater staff.
Maintenance is worst and it always stinks with toilet smell if you sitting close to the entrance door. Projection system is worst. When you watch a movie it looks dull and not rich in color like some other theaters.
