If there is one theater whose fortunes have seen a meteoric rise after renovation (2001), it is Manju. And not without reason.
Complete with couple seats (with cup-holders!) and clean loos, Manju will do more than just fulfil the primary purpose for which you came to the theater. It is equipped with the latest in sound and projection technology that makes movie-watching quite an experience here. In fact, Manju has the biggest cinema screen in the Secunderabad area. But, like most of the theaters in the city, it is also plagued by staff that sorely need etiquette lessons.
Manju has plush interiors, and a canteen that actually serves edible food. And the management's cleanliness fetish can be gauged from their employing separate sweepers for separate areas of the theater. It normally screens Telugu movies, though occasionally some Hindi films do get released here.
In all, a theater that promises one heck of a movie experience.
Well I have heard a lot about Manju Cinema unfortunately I have never been there because am working in UAE and soooon I'll be visiting to India and the my first movie will be seen only in Manju Cinema only.
