Metro should ideally have been located at the heart of the city than languish on the fringes of Hyderabad where it hardly catches the eye. Housing an expansive parking area for cars, bikes, autos etc., this is also probably the only cinema hall with grandiose decor and delectable furniture inside the hall. Your senses react instantly to the mild fragrance and the luxurious space at your disposal, and eventually, your whole ordeal of film-viewing is punctuated with pleasantaries. And all this before you enter the auditorium.
I refrained myself from asking the Floor Manager what they used to clean the loos. Never would you expect a theater in this part of the town to be so unbelievably clean and sparkling.
The first few moments in the theater shoved off any kind of uneasiness that I was carrying. For Rs. 35 that I paid for the balcony, I thought I was being treated with utmost reverence. Beware of the seats - if you're too tired, they might do just enough to transport you into a perpetual slumber. The acoustics of the auditorium and the whopping sound system (DTS and Dolby) synergize impeccably to amplify your experience.
Do drop in for a range of latest flicks in English, Hindi and Telugu. The ride to this cinema hall might get irksome, but is a much better option than watching the nondescript sights at the
Zoo which is located a furlong away.
