Lanky and dark, the boys rush out of their classes to celebrate the brief lunch time that they get after the grill of the first half. And so do the girls, as Wesley Boys High School, inspite of its misleading name, has room enough for both the genders.

Standing in the heart of the city, Wesley Boys' High School maintains a strictly formal education curriculum, dismissing the newer experimantal techniques as crass. Like its wooden benches, the curricula are bare and to the point. Discipline, practical sense and social interaction are what your child may get in addition to the A P State Board syllabus.

The building might just have been profiled in time before it ultimately crumbles down, but an efficient staff aided by their sturdy principal are holding fort. While not flaunting elegant classrooms and innovative teaching methods, the school has enough qualified teachers to keep the students focused through their 1st to the 10th standards.

With the distractions kept at the barest minimum (sports limited to cricket and an occasional football for boys, and kho-kho and gossiping for girls), the teachers endorse their subjects with full classroom decorum, and minimum homework.

Wesley Boys' High School will do good for parents who want to instill the ground realities in their child, preparing them for the grind of their future.
