Prasansha

Prasansha might just be a little hard to find, tucked away as it is neatly behind Lifestyle. But the quest is not worth the effort. Definitely not. Located on the second floor of the Lifestyle building, the store has utter delusions of grandeur, and just doesn't live up to them.

Prasansha is a very well-designed store. You get loads of space to walk around. In fact, there is more space for walking than for clothes in the entire place. And what clothes they have leave a lot wanting. The place calls itself a 'Designer Store', but has nothing of specific interest. It stacks everything from horrendous Western outfits to cheap looking goggles, belts, bags and even a few shoes, all from big name brands like Diesel, Versace, Armani et al. But there's hardly any choice, what with the store having bitten off more than it can chew.

Coming to the prices, they stay in the reasonable band. Clothes could cost anywhere from Rs. 400 to Rs. 1,050. But considering the fact that these are designer labels, their authenticity does become suspect. All in all, give it a miss.
