Marco Polo is both ITC and Sheraton. This means double the standards, double the service and double the prices. But most people that visit the place are not bothered about the greens, as they are already guests with the 5-star hotel, or are not the ones picking the tabs.

With a capacity to hold roughly 50 couples, Marco Polo treats you to a live band every night of the week. The bands are generally from out of town, and keep changing often. They mostly play world music. Being a 5-star bar, Marco Polo allows the couples to dance, but only slow dancing. With the average age of the customers here being 40, the management really wants to avoid all the laughter riots.

As a rule, this place is not open to private parties. With a pitcher of beer costing you 525 bucks, many people are happy about that news. There are, however, a lot of chances of you bumping into celebrities here. They tend to hang out, get high and do a lot of things that they do best like paying up huge bills.

In beverages, Mojito, the mint-flavoured Bacardi drink, is a must-try along with the kebab platter.

If you can afford it, Marco Polo is a good, quiet place compared to the drastically loud pubs in the town. Come here if you like class.
