Kilol

Passing through the heavy Panjagutta traffic, you would do just about anything for some space, and as you pull into the huge building where Kilol is situated, parking could be a problem. But despite Kilol being located in one of the most noise-polluted roads in Hyderabad, it manages to make its customers feel very relaxed with its soothing ambience.

The refreshing sense of clothes in this store will beseech you to look simple. Kilol has got all the Jaipuri prints that you could ask for. The readymade garments are not half as good as the dress material available here. The salwar suits range from Rs. 1,100 to Rs. 1,700. But though the prices sound quite reasonable, the clothes are not worth the money, considering the fact that Jaipuri prints are available for much cheaper rates.

Kilol doesn't have an awfully wide range of quilts, but the ones that are available are just too good to let go. Most of their quilts scream out "retro", with bright colors and patterns. The quilts range from Rs. 750 to Rs. 1,000. Not many stores in Hyderabad give away quilts of such style for these low prices.

Kilol sells a minor range of saris made of tusser, chiffon and georgette as well. Unfortunately, these saris are nothing but tragic creations of people with limited talent.

The store also comes along with some confused pillowcases that are trying to look ethnic and hip. These start from Rs. 80 and go almost up to Rs. 300. The pricey ones are definitely better-looking.

On the whole, a place for those days when you'd do anything to kill the boredom. Even tour Panjagutta.
