St Patrick's High School

Established in 1911, St. Patrick's High School is one amongst the oldest schools in Hyderabad. Taken over by the Jesuit Fathers of Andhra Province in 1973, this school continues to flourish and provide quality education to its students.

St. Patrick's is definitely one of those few educational institutions that inculcate discipline, social-awareness, environment-consciousness and the need to help one another. The co-curricular activities are plenty. The Literary Association comprises the Principal, one staff member, the three language teachers and 5 students who are to promote literary activities. These mostly consist of dramas, debates and quizzes on a monthly basis.

Sports include a vast land holding space for cricket, football, basketball, rollerskating and volleyball. They also have table tennis, lawn tennis and NCC. The school's Social Action Association, Environmental Protection Force and Science Forum are all run by the students, with the guidance of elected staff members.

The clubs are the Science, Language, Math, Library, Art & Painting, Social Science, GK, Computer and HAM Radio Club.

The large campus of St. Patrick's High School holds 3,500 students and 100 teachers. Each class consists of five sections, and the curriculum followed is the SSC one.
