Pahnava is a store that should have rightfully been in Charminar, but is better off situated in Banjara Hills saving you from the annoying traffic that lurks in Charminar. Any normal homosapien even close to sanity would run miles from this store the second he walks into it, thanks to the jhatang look of the clothes, but this weird-looking place needs a better assessment. The prints and the work done with the gazillion golden threads might not be the best in the world, or even in its 100 meter neighbourhood, but the people at Pahnava are more than willing to do embroidery and zardosi work precisely the way you like it.

Pahnava is also one heck of a place for wannabe designers who are itching to make clothes extremely flamboyant. You could also get wedding apparel for everyone in the family here when budgets are limited and time is not a luxury.

The courteous Pahnava management is more than willing to work along with your budget, that could be anywhere from Rs. 500 to Rs. 5,000. It is also one of the few stores in Banjara Hills that makes Pakistani suits. All of which make it a good place to hit for immaculately done traditional clothes for your big occasion.
